MPA Bilal Asghar makes a hat-trick From Our Correspondent TOBA TEK SINGH: MPA-elect Bilal Asghar Warraich makes it a hat-trick by winning the PP-84 (Gojra) seat for the third consecutive time. In 2002, he first time won the seat on the PML ticket and later he returned to the Punjab Assembly on the PML-Q ticket in 2008. This time he has contested from his brother former MNA Amjad Warraich’s party – National Muslim League. He has defeated Hamza Group’s candidate Asad Zaman Cheema and his sister-in-law PML-N’s Fauzia Khalid Warraich, wife of PML-N MNA-elect from NA-92 Khalid Javed Warraich. Though they are opponents in politics, but it is a fact both brothers Khalid Javed Warraich and Bilal Asghar Warraich have been elected as MNA and MPA from Gojra’s NA-92 and PP-84 respectively. Meanwhile in NA-93 (Toba), PTI’s Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq has been defeated by PML-N’s Junaid Anwaar Chaudhry. On the other hand, Asim Nazir Chaudhry, son-in-law of Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq, has been elected MNA from Faisalabad on a PML-N ticket.
