Imran to address Swabi rally today

February 10, 2012
SWABI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders including its chairman Imran Khan would address a public rally here today (Friday).
Asad Qaiser, provincial president of the PTI working committee, told reporters that the arrival of Javed Hashmi had been confirmed but it was not assured whether PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi would accompany Imran Khan.
This would be the first visit of Imran Khan to Swabi in the wake of his party’s successful public meetings in Lahore and Karachi. Asad Qaiser said the PTI chief would address public meeting at Shewa Adda for which all arrangements had been finalised.
Imran Khan would be received by the party leaders and workers at the Swabi Interchange on the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway and brought to the public meeting venue, he said. “Only Imran Khan can steer the country out of the prevailing crises,” said former PTI Swabi President Rangaiz Khan. Meanwhile, several local journalists on Thursday lamented the attitude of the PTI leaders for not inviting them to cover the event.
