Balochistan to computerise record of official, non-official properties

QUETTA: The Chief Secretary of Balochistan, Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri, has said measures would be taken for computerising the record of official and non-official properties besides improving the Patwari system of the Revenue department.
The chief secretary (CS) made these remarks while addressing at the inaugural ceremony of a Patwari School here on Saturday.
Senior Member of the Board of Revenue (BoR), Sarwar Javed, Secretary Local Government, Mahmood-ul-Hasan, Secretary Law Khalid Mahmood, Secretary Forest Ghulam Ali Baloch, Commissioner Quetta Division, Naseem Ahmad Lehri and Principal Patwari School Muhammad Akbar Mirza were also present on the occasion.
The CS added that computerised record of properties would help in getting details on measurement of the pieces of land through computers instead of resorting to the courts for justice.
