The government has announced a special DSL-internet package for students, forgetting disabled people in the process of granting these special benefits. Such packages can help the disabled in attaining a quality internet service that they may put to effective personal use. Sadly, though we enthusiastically celebrate a disabled people’s day, no practical step aimed at their actual betterment is taken. PTCL should provide this facility to those disabled persons who possess attested disabled certificates from either the NCRDP or the PCRDP of social welfare offices. Please don’t let us be ignored.
