LAHORE PML-N leader Senator Pervaiz Rashid has sent a State Bank of Pakistan report for the year 2000-2001 to MQM chief Altaf Hussain and Federal Law Minister Babar Awan which detailed the accounts of “Qarz Utaro Mulk Sanwaro” scheme on page 127 & 128. The report said all the money collected under the scheme was deposited with the national exchequer and used for the purpose for which it was collected. In a letter addressed to Altaf Hussain enclosed with the State Bank report, Senator Pervaiz Rashid stated that as he might not have been able to study the report due to his political engagements, the document is being sent to him with all details. He said that this report makes it clear that all the donations collected under the scheme were deposited in the State Bank account and not in the personal account of any individual. Senator Pervaiz Rashid hoped that after studying the report, Babar Awan will refrain from distorting the facts in future.
