Bahrain naval chief visits NHQ

Commander of Royal Bahrain Naval Force Brigadier General Abdulla Saeed Al Mansoori, visited Naval Headquarters, here on Tuesday, says a press release.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir received him on his arrival. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy presented him the guard of honour and he was introduced to the principal staff officers at the headquarters.

Later, the visiting dignitary, called on chief of the naval staff and was also given briefing on ‘Organisation, Vision and Development Plans of Pakistan Navy.’ Likely avenues of collaboration between two navies were also touched upon during the briefing.

Brigadier General Abdulla Saeed Al Mansoori has a rich naval career, he joined Royal Bahrain Navy in 1975. He has served on different ships. Brigadier General Abdulla Saeed has also held various appointments ashore which include the appointment of Commander Flotilla and Commander Royal Bahrain Navy.

He has attended various

specialisation courses. Besides this he is holder of Ph.D degree in International Relations from USA.

Brigadier General Abdulla Saeed Mansoori is a decorated naval officer and in recognition of his services he has been

bestowed with various state,

national and armed forces

award.
