PESHAWAR: The provincial government on the recommendation of the Provincial Selection Board has promoted 12 associate professors from BS-19 to 20.
The officers on promotion will remain on probation for a period of one year in terms of section 6 (2) of NWFP civil Servants Act, 1973, read with rule-15 (1) of the NWFP Civil Servants (appointment, promotion and transfer) rules 1989.
According to details Muhammad Riaz BS-20 associate professor of Botany/principal Government Degree College, Batagram has been transferred and posted as principal Government Degree College, Chitral against vacant post, Muhammad Shafiq BS-20 associate professor of Pashto/In-charge principal Government Postgraduate college No.1, Abbottabad as principal of the same college, Zafarullah Khan BS-20 associate professor of Chemistry, Government Postgraduate College, Kohat has been posted as principal Government Degree College, Pabbi, Nowshera against vacant post, Dr Himayatullah BS-20 associate professor of Archaeology (presently working as chairman, BISE, Abbottabad) has been posted on deputation basis as principal Government Postgraduate College, Charsadda, Usman Ali associate professor of Geography (presently working as secretary BISE, Swat) has been posted as principal Government Degree College Thana, Malakand Agency, Taj Nabi BS-20 associate professor of Mathematics, Government Degree College, Khairabad, Mardan as principal Government Degree College Khairabad, Mardan, Abdul Mateen BS-20 associate professor of Mathematics/princial Government Degree College Balakot as principal Postgraduate College No.2 Abbottabad, Dr Suleman Khattak BS-20 associate professor of Statistics Government Degree College, Ahmadabad as principal Government Postgraduate College Bannu, Muqadasullah BS-20 associate professor of English Government Degree College, Badhber, Peshawar as principal Government Superior Science College, Peshawar, Muhammad Ayub Awan BS-20 associate professor of Physics as principal Government Postgraduate College Haripur, Sardar Bahadur Khan BS-20 acting In-charge associate professor of Political Science Government Postgraduate College, Mansehra as principal Government Degree College, Lahore, Swabi, Sardar Walli-ur-Rehman BS-20 (acting In-charge) associate professor of Economics Government Postgraduate College No.1, Abbottabad as principal Government Degree College Dargai, Malakand Agency against vacant post, Syed Asmat Shah BS-19 associate professor of Chemistry under transfer to Government Degree College Bakhshali, Mardan will remain posted as associate professor of Chemistry Government College Peshawar till April 30 and Abad Khan BS-19 associate professor of Chemistry (under transfer to Government College Peshawar), will remain posted as associate professor Government Degree College, Bakhshali Mardan till April 30.
