THE Persian book titled “Dewan-e-Saeed Khan Multani Qasaid, Ghazalyat-o-Maqattat” of the Chairman Punjab University Department of Persian Hazrat Syed Ali Hajveri and Chair Incharge Dr Moeen Nizami has been published.
According to a press statement the book comprising 456 pages is published by Department of Persian, Oriental College. Detailed research on the life of Saeed Khan Qureshi Multani and his Persian poetry has been given in the book.
Saeed Khan Multani had been a great poet, writer, political and literary personality in the period of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. He had served on various positions from time to time in the period of Shahjahan, his four sons and especially Prince Murad.
