Chaudhry Nisar’s removal could resolve Sindh’s grievances: Khursheed

SUKKUR: The leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, said that if the federal government was sincere in resolving the grievances of Sindh then Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif hadto remove Chaudhry Nisar who was behind the conspiracy.

He was talking to the media in Naushahro Feroze on Monday. Khursheed Shah said thatthe briefing by Ahsan Iqbal on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor was incomprehensible.

The leader of the opposition alleged that the Chinese government had expressed its concerns over the execution of the projects“owing to the partiality of the government in the execution of the China PakistanEconomic Corridor”.

The leader of the opposition said that he had not yet reviewed the criminal prosecution bill passed by the Sindh Assembly recently, and thus he was not in a position to talk about the bill’s merits or demerits.

Khursheed Shah said that if tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran was not defused it would have some very serious consequences for the Muslim countries. Heappreciated the proposal of reconciliation between Iran and Saudi Arabia given by the Prime Minister and the Chiefof the Army Staff andsaid that it was a good step taken by the government of Pakistan to play its role indefusing tension between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

The leader of the opposition expressed his satisfaction over the lifting of a ban on Iranby the US and said that now the Pak-Iran gas pipeline projectshould be resumed.
