HARIPUR: Chief Executive of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) Syed Hassan Fazil issued orders to redress the electricity-related problems at Hattar Industrial Estate.
He issued the orders during the Pesco Board of Directors’s 103rd meeting, which was arranged here to facilitate industrialists, said a communique.
Pesco Board of Directors Chairman Malik Muhammad Asad Khan presided over the meeting. He said the meeting was held at Hattar to know the electricity-related problems of the industrialists and have them resolved.
The office-bearers of the Hattar Industrial Association wlecomed Pesco BoD meeting at Hattar and enlisted the problems faced by them. These included under capacity transmission line of Hattar Gridstation, replacement of 45 structures, installation of larger power transformers, bifurcation of feeders and establishment of complaint office at Hattar.
Company secretary read out Minutes of 102nd BOD meeting. These were approved after detailed discussion.Head of Research Department of University of Engineering Peshawar Dr Gul Muhammad gave a detail presentation about reading of meters installed at height, Drone Meter Reading Technology, Selfee Stick Meter Reading and on line meter reading system.
The Pesco BoD discussed and approved incentive package for permanent disconnected consumers, replacement of old /sluggish meters, refreshers courses for meter readers and bifurcation of 11 kv feeders.
