ISLAMABAD: Two more dope tests conducted on Olympics-bound Pakistan athletes have turned negative.
The tests conducted on Ghulam Mustafa Bashir (shooter) and Mahoor Shahzad (badminton player) for use of performance-enhancing drugs came out negative.
“Two more tests conducted on Tokyo-bound athletes turned negative. In total so far eight of the ten Pakistan athletes’ tests came out negative. Shah Hussain Shah will undergo doping testing in Japan while weightlifter Talah Talib test results are awaited. Talha’s tests were conducted a bit late,” a source told ‘The News’.
