Dancer and actor Suhaee Abro, who featured in Sarmad Masud’s My Pure Land in 2017, is all geared up for her upcoming movie, The Window to be directed by filmmaker duo Ammar Lasani and Kanza Zia.

For her forthcoming film, which is a co-production between Starstruck Films and L.A-based Three Feather Pictures, Suhaee shaved off her hair. In a recent interview, the artist shared that she felt liberated after shaving her head. She further went on to explain that going bald has boosted her confidence level and has made her understand what beauty [for women] is all about.

Earlier this year, Suhaee took to Instagram and shared her sentiments on going completely bald. “I got my head shaved. I recently finished filming for The Window, where my character’s requirement was to have a certain kind of hair that led to eventually shaving it all off,” she wrote.

“I was definitely a little nervous about it but I decided to accept it and embrace it. I don’t plan on hiding it, in fact I’m happy to explore this whole new world without hair,” added Suhaee.

The dancer and actor thanked her co-star Faran Tahir for shaving her head as well as helping her face her fears. She also acknowledged the entire team, including the directors, assistant directors, makeup artists and others who lent her moral support and helped her essay the character, which she believes is one of the most difficult ones she’s done.
