Islamabad: The Central Selection Board, the top civil services promotion body of the federal government, will examine the BPS 19-20 cases for promotion from today (Monday) to Wednesday here.
Among them are few principals and professors of Islamabad's public sector schools and colleges.
The Establishment Division will send the names of the government officers recommended by the board for promotion to the prime minister for mandatory consent. The relevant ministries will notify the respective promotions afterward.
According to an Establishment Division notification, the CSB will meet from Jan 27 to Jan 29 in Islamabad to discuss the cases of promotion from BPS 19 to BPS 20 and from BPS 20 to BPS 21. The Establishment Division has already asked the relevant ministries to produce the complete proposals for consideration.
