Addressing a conference held in connection with the 706th annual Urs of Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam on Wednesday, he said there is war on the LoC as Indian security forces are targeting innocent civilians. The prime objective behind the hybrid war is to prove the Pakistani nation defeated and fragmented. The country flourishes when people understand their ideology and take stand with the armed forces, he said.

He said India has bulldozed its Constitution and the Bharatiya Janata Party is promoting Hindutawa. On the one hand, India is claiming freedom of religion but, on the other, it is crushing minorities freely. Pakistan is a powerful nation and soon the country would overcome financial constraints because difficulties are parts of life, he said, adding that all devotees should convey the message of unity to anti-Pakistan elements. The Modi government is subjecting Indian Muslims to suppression and planning a false flag operation against Pakistan.

The Indian war hysteria has become a challenge and threat to peace in the region. The world leaders should take notice of Indian war hysteria. He said India is violating the LoC to divert its public attention from a controversial citizenship bill. Indian people have unanimously rejected Modi’s extremist ideology. The Indian public as well as students are taking out rallies against Modi’s extremism. He said Modi’s extremism has exposed so-called Indian secularism and democracy.

Qureshi offered prayers for the freedom of Kashmir which is facing a critical time of its freedom struggle. He said the Punjab government has released funds for the renovation of shrines of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya, Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam and Bibi Pakdaman.

He requested the Punjab Auqaf secretary to ensure execution of development works. He said Indian tyrannies, gross rights violations and declining plight of Muslims in India has realized the importance of Pakistan and has proved that the two-nation theory was true and based on facts. He offered prayers for the prosperity of the country and Muslims of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and the world over.
