The CDA has razed the Afghan Basti in Sector I-11 after getting clearance from court.
The CDA has also established farmhouses at Chak Shahzad in order to grow vegetables for the people of federal capital but the powerful elite has built palaces on the farmhouses’ land. A case is still being heard in the Supreme Court pending decision. Will the CDA also demolish palaces at Chak Shahzad like it did in the Afghan Basti?
