ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of United Arab Emirates (UAE) has clarified news on the recovery of a rifle from the luggage of its protocol officer at the Islamabad airport the previous day.
The embassy says that the news published in newspapers was not carried out in its true perspective. According to the sources of the embassy, the concerned rifle does not come under the arm, rather it was a antique rifle. They said that all legal documents were completed in this connection, and the airport officials mistakenly considered it banned arm and asked for its licence which utterly not needed.
It is to be cleared that the airport officials recovered a rifle from the luggage of the protocol officer of the UAE embassy. ASF officials took rifle in their custody.
