Prime Minister Imran Khan extended his condolences on Sunday to the families of the deceased victims of the Bhakkar road accident.
The premier turned to Twitter to express his grief over the incident while also giving words of support to the families of killed victims in the rickshaw and bus collision.
“Terrible loss of young lives in the accident in Bhakkar which killed 6 girls returning from school & their rickshaw driver. My prayers & condolences go to the families of the victims,” read his tweet.
Earlier on Saturday, seven people had lost their lives, including six female matric students who were returning home after giving their exam and had passed away on the spot after their rickshaw collided with a bus killing the driver along with them.
