Pakistan Armed forces fully prepared for befitting response to any Indian misadventure; COAS, CAS satisfied on readiness

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Air Headquarters (Pakistan Air Force) where he met Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.

Military spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor, in a Tweet said Army Chief General Bajwa and Air Chief Mujahid Anwar deliberated on operational environment including threat and response.

Both the Chiefs expressed satisfaction on readiness, coordination and synergy, DG Inter Services Public Relations said.

Expressing satisfaction, General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Air Chief Mujahid Anwar said, “Pakistan Armed Forces are fully prepared for a befitting response to any Indian aggression or misadventure.”

Later, General Bajwa visited Headquarters Rawalpindi Corps. Commander Rawalpindi Corps updated the Army Chief on operational situation and state of readiness along Line of Actual Contact (LAC), Line of Control and Working Boundary (WB).

The COAS expressed satisfaction on the state of preparations and readiness.

On Sunday, General Bajwa visited troops along working boundary near Sialkot and appreciated state of high morale and readiness.

“There isn’t anything more sacred than defending the motherland. I take pride in leading an Army which is ever ready to perform this duty”, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said while interacting with the troops.

Also, on Saturday he visited Line of Control and reviewed state of preparedness. He also lauded high moral of troops.

At LoC, General Bajwa said “Pakistan is a peace loving country but we will not be intimidated or coerced. Any aggression or misadventure shall be paid back in same coin.”
