Nawaz Sharif has been issuing statements about ending corruption and nepotism ever since he came into power but to his utter disappointment no one is willing to listen to him.
On the other hand, the NAB DG also plays the same trumpet whenever he visits regional NAB offices, terming corruption to be the biggest challenge facing the country. Despite this clear understanding, both men have failed to stem corruption, which can be minimised only through ruthless and indiscriminate accountability.
