ISLAMABAD: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Wednesday announced it was organising 4th Pakistan Trade Expo 2018 in Canadian city of Toronto in October 2018.
“The decision has been taken in view of the last three such successful events … which yielded fruitful results in terms of promotion of our exports and bilateral trade and economic relations with Canada,” Mazhar Ali, senior vice president FPCCI said in a statement.
“This event will help capturing unconventional North American market, which is full of potential for Pakistani exportable products.”
Ali said the leading entrepreneurs and industrial sector of Pakistan were being invited to participate in the expo.
S M Muneer, chairman Pakistan Canada Business Council, FPCCI, hoped the initiative taken by the FPCCI would lead to providing opportunities to explore new avenues for the promotion of Pakistan’s exports to entire North American region. “Efforts will be made to invite leading buyers, chain stores, superstores etc of North American region,” Muneer said adding special business-to-business (B-2-B) meetings would also be arranged during the expo.
