LAHORE: Former MNA Ahmed Raza Maneka on Saturday announced to quit the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Saturday).
He made the announcement to leave the arty at a press conference along with his comrades which also included chairmen of Union Councils.
According to Geo News correspondents, the decision by the UC chairmen to leave the party is expected to dissolve District Government.
Ahmed Raza Maneka, a younger brother of Khawar Maneka(former husband of Imran Khan's third wife), is the president of PTI's Pakpatan chapter.
He criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan for ignoring party workers in Pakpatan despite visiting the area frequently.
Maneka said he would soon announce his future course of action.
Meanwhile, Geo News reported that the PTI chairman Imran Khan would start a two-day visit to Lahore where he would take part in party's organizational activities.
He would address party workers at seven camps set up as part of membership campaign during his tour.
The camps have been set up at Liberty Chowk, Yateem Khana Chowk, Shahidra, Dharampura, Sabzazar,Youhannabad, Thokar Niaz Baig, Akbar Chowk, Dubai Chowk and Saddar Bazar.
