CHITRAL: A contractor here on Friday alleged that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) provincial President Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan had forged his signatures to secure development schemes for his brother during his tenure as senator.
Speaking at a press conference at the Chitral Press Club here, Nasir Ahmed Khan alleged that the JUI-F leader had forged his signature and his construction firm's documents to secure contracts that were being undertaken from his funds provided to him as senator. The contractor alleged that the former senator was involved in embezzlement of funds. He demanded forensic test of the documents and signatures to ascertain the facts. He asked the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take notice of the forgery committed by the JUI-F leader.
It may be added that Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan belongs to Lower Dir district and is presently the KP head of the JUI-F. He served as a senator in the past and has been nominated by the JUI-F as its candidate to contest the forthcoming election for Senate.
