The governor stated he was trying his best to ensure the early reopening of Bara Bazaar and rehabilitation of economic activities. He said the repatriation of IDPs of Bara would start from Feb 15.
He said that tribal people had rendered great sacrifices by leaving their homes during the ongoing war against terrorism.
Inspecting the confiscated weapons from terrorists during the military operation, the governor said the endeavours of the security forces in the war against terrorism and extremism were admirable.
Lauding the spirit of
the tribal people who left
their homes for restoration of peace and stability in the region, the governor said, he was quite conscious of the complexities and miseries through which the people of Bara had gone.
Sardar Mahtab maintained that with the active support and cooperation of the Pakistan Army, FC, security forces, stability in real sense would be restored and damaged infrastructure re-constructed.
The governor said the displaced people would be re-settled in own homes and socio-economic uplift activities revived.
