Reveals his life is in danger; his employees also under threat
MIRPURKHAS: In a confidential letter to the chief minister of Sindh, Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mirpurkhas, Prof Barkat Ali Hyderi Dasti has revealed that the lives of board officers, including him, were under severe threat from cheating mafia, alleging two former officers of his office in his letter.
The confidential letter—available with ‘The News’—by Prof Barkat revealed that abusive threats were being received by chairman, secretary, controller and security officer of the board.
The letter further requested that security arrangements should be made for the safety of above-mentioned officers and belongings of the board office. He appealed that in case of any mishap, FIR must be lodged against former secretary board, who was presently suspended, and ex-controller examination, presently de-seated due to some allegations.
Interestingly, the letter was written on April 30, five days after the intermediate exams began. Sources revealed that the board chairman had also handed over copies of this document as a record to some of his aides.
