Yes this trend has become such a major part of our lives that we just can’t do without taking one perfect selfie. Even our favourite celebs who are in front of the camera almost all the time are seen clicking selfies everywhere. However, one can’t deny the fact that for a selfie you need to have a cell phone with amazing front camera. With technology advancing rapidly, every now and then cell phone companies try to introduce new models of phones with incredible features keeping the selfie trend in mind. Confused much? Recently, smartphone brand OPPO unveiled a limited edition Classic Black F1s Selfie Expert with 16 megapixel front camera, beautify 4.0 app for selfie editing and much more in Karachi via a press conference. This is the first time ever in Pakistan that a smartphone brand has collaborated with a fashion personality - and that too our very own celebrated designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin. HSY is one of the biggest names in the fashion industry and is best known for combining contemporary silhouettes with the traditional techniques of old.
Coming back to the launch event! It was attended by members of the press, associates and team members of the smartphone brand in Pakistan. The conference started with a welcome note by host Anoushey Ashraf and was followed by speeches from oversees brand manager, Kevin Hu, the brand ambassador Mr. Hassan Sheheryar Yasin and CEO of the brand, George Long.
At the event style guru HSY said, “In addition to being the face of this brand, I will also work closely when it comes to its design. A first step in this direction is the exclusive HSY designed case that will come with the Selfie Expert cell phone. Globally the brand has always focused on superior design aesthetics and their core value has always been the pursuit of beauty, which is the main reason we decided to join hands. Through this partnership, we hope to work together to bring to the customer the best in style and technology.”
