LAKKI MARWAT: Residents of Wanda Bagni have demanded the provincial government to allocated funds for construction of a road to the village from Manjiwala link road.
Talking to reporters on Sunday, they said the road was in a dilapidated condition, causing trouble for them. ‘“The village is located on plains of Ihsanpur between Kurrum and Gambila rivers and villagers have to face hardships to travel to Lakki city and other localities,” said one Khalil.
“During rains the village remains cut off from rest of the district and local residents stay at homes,” another villager revealed. He said villagers also faced problems while shifting patients to the hospitals in Lakki city during rainy days. They lamented that the members of provincial and national assembly from the district paid no heed to resolve the problems faced by local residents.
