Pakistan has a very large debt burden and, instead of revamping and reshaping our policies, we are not capable of even minimising the perks available to our government officials and politicians.
We need to work day and night to shake off this heavy debt and try to make our country prosperous and stable. Otherwise it will not be possible to make Pakistan a country where our children can have a prosperous and sustainable future.

All political parties should sit down to decide that Pakistan will not further increase its debt burden. This declaration should be a part of a proposed charter of the economy, which must be agreed upon by all political parties. With the current IMF programme, this is our last chance to establish a competitive market for trade and investment. It is the last chance for us to free ourselves from the vicious cycle of debt and international loans.
Without the success of ongoing reforms in the mineral, industrial, and energy sectors, our economy will remain hostage forever. A debt-free Pakistan is essential to creating a sustainable economic future.
