The pro vice chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (SBBUVAS) Sakrand, Prof Dr Zahid Iqbal Rajput, has taken over the charge of vice chancellor.
The VC’s post had fallen vacant after the completion of the four-year tenure of Prof Dr Mohammad Farooque Hassan. According to the notification of the Sindh Universities & Boards Department, Dr Rajput would look after the university’s affairs until the appointment of a regular VC through the search committee.
