RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday ordered the Adiala jail superintendent to provide books to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and also manage his telephonic talk to his sons.
The pleas pertaining to non-provision of books to the PTI founder and not allowing him to talk to his children was heard by ATC Rawalpindi judge Amjad Ali Shah.
The court, while issuing orders to the jail authorities on requests of PTI founder, directed that immediate provision of books to the PTI founder should be ensured.
The court in its order said that before Eid, the PTI founder should be allowed to talk to his children. The court noted that Eid is a religious festival, thus, the petitioner should be immediately allowed to talk to his children.
