PESHAWAR: The authorities have imposed Section 144 in the provincial capital, banning activities such as aerial firing, one-wheeling, and the use of motorcycles with heavy silencers. The order has been put in place to ensure public safety and maintain law and order in the city.

According to an official notification, swimming in rivers and dams without wearing a life jacket has also been prohibited. Additionally, overcrowding on boats and amusement rides has been strictly banned to prevent accidents.

The authorities have warned that strict action would be taken against those violating these

regulations. The decision aims to reduce the risk of accidents and unlawful activities in the city. Law enforcement agencies have been directed to enforce the order effectively.
