PESHAWAR: The Cantonment Board Peshawar (CBP) successfully organised the CBP Cycle Race 2025 under the inspiring theme of “Pedal for Fun, Ride for Pakistan” on the eve of Pakistan Day.
The event, held under the patronage of the Military Lands and Cantonments Department, showcased the community’s spirit of unity, health, and harmony. This initiative not only promoted the importance of physical fitness but also fostered sportsmanship, teamwork, and a sense of collective responsibility among the youth, said an official communique.
The event was conducted in line with the vision of the director general, Military Lands & Cantonments Department, as part of a broader initiative where similar healthy events are being organized across all cantonments in Pakistan during the holy month of Ramazan. “These events aim to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle while strengthening the bonds of community engagement and national pride,” it added.
Station Commander Peshawar, Brigadier Omer Saeed, was the chief guest of the event who appreciated the enthusiasm and sportsmanship displayed by the participants, including young kids aged 10 to 15 years. The youth of Peshawar Cantonment and employees of the Cantonment Board actively took part in the race, making it a lively and energetic gathering.
