Islamabad : Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar visited the construction site of the Daanish School in Kuri area on the outskirts of Islamabad on Saturday.
She assessed the project's progress and appreciated it and the commitment of the team involved in the Danish School project.
Meanwhile, in a major step toward technological education, 16 colleges in Islamabad are set to introduce specialised training courses in data science, artificial intelligence and blockchain. According to the education ministry, the initiative is being launched in collaboration with leading educational institutions, including Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, National University of Sciences and Technology, National University of Technology, COMSATS University Islamabad and the National University of Modern Languages. Funded by the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission, the programme aims to train 1,000 students, equipping them with highly employable skills in cutting-edge technologies, according to officials.
