Pakistan’s inflation rate has significantly declined, reaching a decade-low of around 1.5 per cent in February. This is a substantial drop from 23.1 per cent in the same month during the previous year. However, this does not mean lower prices, only that they are no longer rising as fast.
In some cases, prices are still going up. It is the responsibility of the government to ensure that the people actually benefit from the decline in inflation.
