Aamir Khan's sister gives her seal of approval to his new girlfriend

Aamir Khan's sister, Nikhat Hegde, extends her heartfelt greetings to the actor and his new girlfriend, Gauri Spratt after they went public with their relationship.

During an exclusive interview with Times Applaud Trends, Nikhat couldn’t stop swooning about the lovebirds as she discussed Spratt’s influence on her brother.

She told the outlet, “We’re very happy for Aamir and Gauri as she is a great human being. We want them to stay happy always.”

This comes after the Dangal actor announced his relationship with the Bombay-based woman on his 60th birthday eve during an intimate interaction with the paparazzi. The actor also took the opportunity to introduce the love of his life to his kids and family, including his sister.

The 60-year-old previously shared some insight into his ladylove's background, revealing her birthplace and personal interests.

He said, “She grew up in Bangalore, and her exposure was to different kinds of films and arts. So she doesn’t watch Hindi films. She has probably not seen much of my work, either. She doesn’t see me as a superstar but as a partner. But I do want her to watch Taare Zameen Par.”

For the unversed, Aamir and Gauri have been dating for the past eighteen months and it seems like they’ve got forever to go.
