Karachi is plagued by unfinished development projects, with roads, flyovers, and public transport initiatives often abandoned halfway. Despite grand announcements, these projects remain incomplete, causing traffic congestion, accidents, and urban flooding. The Green Line bus project took years longer than promised and many road expansion projects started but never finished, leaving behind dug-up streets that inconvenience citizens.
This mismanagement wastes taxpayers’ money and highlights the lack of accountability. Instead of launching new projects, the government must focus on completing existing ones. Transparency, realistic deadlines, and strict accountability for delays are essential. Karachi’s progress depends on action, not empty promises.
