The DG PCRWR said Aab’e Dubai mineral water was declared unsafe in the fourth quarter of 2024 due to excess sodium levels contrary to PSQCA standards.

However, she said samples from the Karachi production site came out as per the standards, on which Aab’e Dubai was removed from the list of unsafe brands.

She said public safety is ensured by testing the brands that are not up to the standards of PSQCA. Detailed report is available on the PCRWR website, she informed.
