FBISE opens registration for Olympiad in informatics

Islamabad: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has opened registration for the Pakistan Olympiad in Informatics 2025.

The event will serve as the selection process for the national team that will represent Pakistan at the upcoming International Olympiad in Informatics 2025 to be held in Bolivia. Students from grades IX to XII (Matric, Cambridge, or equivalent systems), both within Pakistan and abroad, with a passion for programming and problem-solving, are invited to register for the competition. Interested participants can apply via the FBISE's official website.

The registration fee is set at Rs1,000 per candidate. The top four students will be selected to represent Pakistan at the prestigious IOI in Bolivia. In addition to the opportunity to compete on the global stage, substantial prizes and awards will be offered to the highest achievers in the POI, according to officials. They said the initiative aimed to foster the next generation of tech innovators and problem solvers in Pakistan.
