LAHORE:Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express. He paid tributes to the security forces for conducting a successful operation against the terrorists and safely recovering the passengers.

He said that the brutal beasts who target innocent citizens do not deserve to be called human in any way. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He said that terrorists will never succeed in their nefarious aims. The governor said that the entire nation stands with its security forces.

Meanwhile, governor reached walled city to drink Lassi for Sehri. He sat with the common people at a Lassi shop. People were thrilled to have the governor amongst them and they also took Selfie with him.

Speaking on the occasion, the governor said Lahore is a historical city and he wanted to meet the people of Lahore along with drinking Lassi here. He said that he belonged to another corner of Punjab, and the people of Lahore city showed immense affection to him.

He said that he will continue to come to different areas of Lahore during Sehri and Iftar times. The governor said, ‘We are lucky to have once again the opportunity to receive the blessings of Ramazan’. He emphasised that the sacred month imparts valuable lesson on the importance of compassion, kindness, and empathy, reminding us to uplift one another. The governor said, ‘We should help the poor and needy people generously in the month of Ramazan.
