ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has distributed thousands of winter kits in the northern areas of the country. The Saudi aid agency has launched a largescale relief initiative, distributing 50,000 winter kits among residents of 52 of the country’s coldest and snow-covered districts. Of these, 16,000 kits have been allocated to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and so far, 12,200 winter kits have been distributed across 11 districts, while the remaining 3,800 are in the process of distribution in six more districts. Each winter package includes two quilts, woolen shawls for men and women, and warm clothing for children and adults.
