Islamabad : The Capital Development Authority (CDA), recognising the growing public interest in residential plots in Sector C-14, has decided to offer additional plots of various sizes in Margalla Enclave, a joint venture between CDA and the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) located on Park Road.
This announcement follows Tuesday’s balloting for residential plots in C-14, where the Estate Management Wing of CDA received an overwhelming response. A total of 1,700 applications were submitted for just 236 plots, each measuring 500 square yards. To cater to the increasing demand, the CDA management has now decided to offer plots in three sizes: five marlas, 10 marlas, and 500 square yards.
“This is an excellent opportunity for investors and those planning to construct their own homes, as plots of three different sizes are now available,” a CDA spokesperson said. An added benefit for prospective buyers is the flexible payment plan. Residential plots in Margalla Enclave will be allotted on instalments payable over one, two, or three years.
“This project is a significant milestone for future residential developments
in Islamabad,” CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa stated, emphasizing its importance.
The spokesperson further mentioned that development activities are underway in Sector C-14 to ensure timely handover of plots to buyers. The possession of these plots will be granted upon payment of the final instalment, which must be cleared within 10 months of receiving the letter of intimation from CDA. Margalla Enclave is poised to become a sought-after residential area, offering a unique combination of prime location, flexible payment plans, and opportunities for various buyer segments.
