The violent clash erupted between members of the Metro City Group (MC Group) and the Danial Group just outside the court premises. According to police sources, the altercation stemmed from a long-standing dispute over land ownership between the two housing societies.

Danial Kayani, a prominent figure associated with the Danial Group, was fatally shot during the confrontation. Rescue teams confirmed that two others sustained serious gunshot injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they remain under critical care.

Eyewitnesses alleged that members of the Metro City Group initiated the violence, opening fire on their rivals. Despite the courthouse being situated in a high-security zone, the attackers managed to flee the scene on foot, raising concerns about security in the area. Law enforcement officials quickly secured the site, cordoned off the area, and collected forensic evidence. A heavy police presence has since been deployed as part of the investigation to apprehend the perpetrators.

The incident has sparked outrage over the apparent security lapse near such a sensitive location. Officials acknowledged the need for enhanced safety measures and pledged to prevent similar incidents in the future. “We are committed to delivering justice to the victims and addressing any shortcomings in security to ensure public safety,” the police spokesperson stated. Efforts are also underway to mediate the escalating tensions between the two groups, as authorities seek to resolve the dispute and restore peace.
