The caucus will be led by MPA Sarah Ahmad, who has been appointed as the convener of the committee. The committee includes prominent members of Punjab Assembly such as Zakia Khan, Mehwish Sultana, Salma Saeed, Rukhsana Kosar, and other notable legislators, reflecting a diverse representation.

Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan will serve as the patron of the caucus, providing guidance and oversight to ensure the group achieves its objectives effectively. The caucus will play a vital role in identifying and addressing challenges faced by children, fostering cooperation among stakeholders, and working towards sustainable solutions.

One of the core responsibilities of the caucus will be to carry out regular activities, discussions, and deliberations on child-related issues. The committee will compile its recommendations into detailed reports, which will be presented to the Punjab Assembly for consideration and implementation.

Expressing her gratitude, Sarah Ahmad thanked Malik Ahmad Khan and the Secretary Punjab Assembly for entrusting her with this important responsibility. She emphasised her commitment to ensuring that the caucus works diligently to protect and promote the rights of children, paving the way for a brighter future for the younger generation.
