ISLAMABAD: Ex-member of Pakistan Peoples Party Fawad Chaudhry is contesting the upcoming by-elections in Jhelum on a PTI ticket.
The revelation was made by Mr Chaudhry himself via a tweet in which he thanked PTI chairman Imran Khan for providing him the opportunity to contest the upcoming elections on a PTI ticket.
Fawad Chaudhry became his career in politics as a supporter of former Pakistani General (r) President Pervez Musharraf and joined his APML. He left the party and joined Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) but shortly left and became a political commentator. A lawyer by profession, Chaudhry was also a former adviser to the Prime Minister at the time, Yousaf Raza Gillani.
He now seems to have joined Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI).
