Islamabad:Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain, Central President of the All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association, marked International Teachers’ Day by paying tribute to the nation’s educators and calling for urgent reforms to improve their welfare, says a press release.
He emphasised the critical role teachers play in shaping the future of Pakistan and urged both educators and the government to take concrete steps for educational development. Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain appealed to teachers across the country to redouble their efforts in promoting educational advancement and preparing the younger generation for future challenges. He stressed that teaching is not just a profession, but a prophetic calling, and teachers have a vital role in character building and equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed on a global stage.
“The new generation must be educated according to global standards so that our children can stand tall in the world,” said Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain. He also highlighted the need for the government to prioritize the welfare of teachers, noting that educators cannot effectively shape the future of their students when they are burdened with financial worries. “The government has a primary responsibility to ensure better employment opportunities, food security, and housing for teachers,” he said.
