ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) has set for hearing the PTI’s review petition filed against the decision issued on PTI’s intra-party elections.
Headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, a three-member special bench consisting of Ali Mazhar and Justice Musrat Hilali will hear the case on October 11 at 11:30 am.
It should be remembered that a three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa and comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Musrat Hilali, issued a unanimous decision on January 13, 2024 after completing the hearing of the case nullifying the decision of the Peshawar High Court and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
The election symbol of the bat was withdrawn and the court, while accepting the appeal of the Election Commission, also declared that the petition of PTI was not admissible in the Peshawar High Court.
