Petroleum dealers want ban on sale of smuggled oil

They said smuggling of Iranian fuel via Taftan border was causing severe financial losses to legal petroleum dealers

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Petroleum Dealers Association has called for action against the illegal fuel stations selling smuggled fuel.

During a press conference at the Peshawar Club, Association Chairman Abdul Majid, General Secretary Gul Nawaz Afridi, Information Secretary Behzad Rehman, and regional leaders such as Jan Alam from Dera Ismail Khan, Nek Muhammad from Malakand, Shabbir Shinwari from Kohat, Akhtar Nawaz from Mardan, Fazal Amin, and Babu Razzaq from Hazara highlighted their concerns.

They said the smuggling of Iranian fuel via the Taftan border was causing severe financial losses to the legal petroleum dealers.
