ISLAMABAD: Postings and transfers were made in the federal bureaucracy on Wednesday.
Senior Joint Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education, Abdul Sattar Khokhar, was transferred as Senior Joint Secretary, Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Principal Accounts Officer, PAEC Islamabad. Asif Iqbal Asif has been transferred as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education. Aftab Muhammad Khan, awaiting transfer, was transferred as Secretary General Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO and Sikandar Masood, awaiting transfer, has been appointed as Director General, Directorate General of Basic Education Community Schools. His appointment period will continue till his retirement on Oct 24, 2025.
Senior Joint Secretary, National Security Division, Humira Zia Mufti, has been made an OSD. Raneem Asif, Additional Directing Staff, National Institute of Management Lahore, and Huma Bukhari of Inland Revenue Service, Grade-19, have been appointed as Director President’s Office.
Medical Officer, Health Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, Dr. Obaidur Rehman’s services on deputation for three years have been handed over to PIMS Hospital Islamabad. The services of Inland Revenue Service (Grade 17) Mujahid Hussain Shah, posted in the Sindh government, have been returned to the FBR. Associate Professor, Education Department, Balochistan, Mehboob Jogezai has been transferred as Director, Benazir Income Support Program Islamabad. Two years have more been granted to Asra Bilal Barki (Grade-19) officer on deputation, posted in Universal Service Fund. Two years more on deputation granted to Dr. Sadia Gulzar, Woman Medical Officer, posted at PIMS Hospital. Appointed as DG to Benazir Income Support Program, Abdul Jabbar’s deputation has been extended till October 31, 2024. He is Chief Conservator, Forest Department Balochistan. The federal government has issued notifications in this regard.
