I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment over the incompetent way in which the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) was held on September 22 across Sindh. Once again, there were allegations of the paper being leaked online, shattering the hopes of thousands of honest and hardworking students. I, as a candidate, can attest to the fact that the actual test paper was entirely identical to the leaked one. This is particularly shameful for the high-profile university that might have failed to conduct a fair test.
The regulatory bodies, including the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and the Sindh Health Department, must establish a transparent inquiry committee to investigate the paper leak and hold accountable those responsible.
