General Hospital urologists save patient’s life

LAHORE:A team of Lahore General Hospital doctors conducted successful operation of a female patient. According to the details, a 24-year-old patient named Zakia had developed a cut in kidney to urinal bladder vain during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan. She was admitted to various hospitals of Mianwali, Islamabad and others but she returned to Dera Ismail Khan with increasing complications. Later, the patient was brought to LGH where the successful operation was conducted. Professor of Urology Dr Khizar Hayat Gondal headed this procedure and Dr Khalil Ahmed, Dr Azfar Ali, Dr Haroon Israr and Dr Imran Niazi included. PGMI Principal Prof Al-Fareed Zafar praised the professionalism of Prof Khizr Hayat and his team and congratulated them in historic success. Talking to the media, Prof Al-Fareed Zafar said that the health sector is the first priority of CM Punjab. The patient Zakia had been under treatment in the hospital for a month and discharged with financial assistance from the admin.
