Suki Waterhouse gets candid about highly-acclaimed song

Suki Waterhouse is making a surprising confession about her highly-acclaimed song Lullaby, which was released earlier this month.

During an exclusive sit-down with the singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten for Interview Magazine, the British multi-hyphenate star reflected on the making of her latest album Memoir of a Sparklemuffin.

Suki revealed that she wrote the song Lullaby after taking a sleeping pill while she was staying somewhere around “the middle of the countryside” in Devon.

She told the publication, "I did a session in Devon in England where we were locked in the studio for a week in the middle of the countryside.

“It was p**sing down rain. We had no access to shops apart from this place called the Co-op on Deliveroo, which is like English Postmates. So, it was just bad ham slices and cream cheese and that kind of isolation."

Sharing her stance on writing one of her songs in the given state, the Daisy Jones & The Six star went on to add, "I also wrote a song called Lullaby there where I'd taken a sleeping pill and then gone into the studio, because the bed was in the studios.”

For the unversed, the 32-year-old songstress dropped her latest album on September 13, 2024.
